Ebert Media Taxonomies adds flexible taxonomy management for WordPress media attachments.
The plugin allows you to create and manage custom media taxonomies and use them to organize images and other media files. It provides filtering, assignment and bulk assignment tools directly in the WordPress media library.

Usage
Manage taxonomies
Go to Media Media Taxonomies.
There you can create, edit, rename and remove managed taxonomies. Removing a taxonomy from plugin management does not delete its terms or media assignments.
Manage categories/terms
On the Media Taxonomies page, click Edit categories. This opens the WordPress term management screen for that taxonomy.
Assign categories in grid view
Open the media library in grid view, click Bulk select, select images, choose a category and apply it.
Filter media
The plugin adds a filter dropdown for the active taxonomy. You can filter by all media, media with category, media without category, or a specific category.
Languages
The plugin includes built-in German and English interface texts. The displayed language follows the current WordPress admin language.
